How unfortunate you were one of the 700 TECO reported was without power. When our power has gone out I just fire up mobile data on my cell phone, connect my laptop to it and access to everything once again.

That’s another reason to have an automatic whole house electric generator! Not just for storms, but also for those random, pesky electric service outages.

No complaints with TECO here. A couple of flickers now and then. Only recall one short term outage in 2 years that I've live here. Not bad considering the storms that blow through here. No outage with Irma. Had much worse experience in IL.
