they're working it - it's becoming more and more dense S. Hillsborough, east and west of US 301 especially south of Riverview......

Pinellas County is mostly built out, hardly any green land there. Hillsborough county is mostly rural in the eastern and southern parts. How is Pinellas going to grow anymore?

According to a County C&ELM employee I was speaking to on Friday, the County has well over 50,000 acres under land management that aren't developed. That's only about 80 square miles. The county is over 1000 square miles.

If you drive down SR39 south of Pinecrest you'll encounter some of the most remote areas of the County, almost totally devoid of development, and for the most part, inhabitants.

The OP was comparing City of Tampa with Pinellas County, apples and oranges.

Pinellas used to have a number of orange groves, I would not know where to find one now. It has become very urbanized compared to when I first came here in 1972. To me Tampa has always been "city".

Yeah, I must have missed that one, too.

I could have sworn the thread subject was "Hillsbourough (sic) vs. Pinellas County". Since there's no "Hillsbourough" city I would comprehend this as comparing the two counties.

Pinellas county is better. Less beggars, because it is illegal here
