She's in Crystal River, three counties north of us and a relatively rural area that is probably rife with folks that espouse the same views.

As a teacher she's probably breaking the rules for professional educators:

Principles of Professional Conduct for the Education Profession in Florida

I think that they pretty well tanked on (a) and possibly (c).

Channel 8 locally opened their newscast about her being suspended and hightailing it out of her residence, avoiding news people.

I'm hoping our schools have regulations about such things. But I wasn't surprised whatsoever. There a lot of of racists in our area from my experience. #maga red-hatters, mostly.

I'd venture to say that many educators today fail to uphold those standards, not just this racist kook from Citrus County.
