just got back - spent most of the day out there - I've seen all of them (Woods, Spieth, McIroy) a lot of times over the years so didn't fight the mob following him today. I was at Augusta National in '97 when he won his first one. Also in Germany and Jacksonville TPC. I've been going out to the Valspar tournament for the 7-8 yrs, sometimes all four days. I ran the course in a 5k race last weekend - kind of nice with not many on the course - damn cold out there today w/ the wind gusts. Headed to Orlando to see Arnie's tournament for umpteenth time as well next week.

I'm jealous. The crowds look so much bigger this year. If I still lived in Palm Harbor, I would go in a heartbeat.

IDK why I'm bragging about golf stuff, nobody cares - sounding like the rhyming Vette dude w/ a huge telescope and weather reports ----I've gotten bored with the game and rarely play anymore after playing for nearly 30 yrs.

It was breezy, but the temps were probably high 50s-low 60s and wind chill made it somewhat uncomfortable until about 1 pm then it got nicer ---the course is unlike most of Florida golf courses with pine trees, and very hilly fairways. Some say that it has a few of the characteristics of Augusta National (Master) the the changes in elevation and the tree lined fairways.....lots of huge chirping Ospreys out there (the course have special perched nests). Usually see a gator or two but didn't today. The golf was tougher due to the breezes making many of the holes longer, tougher to judge. Lots of people - it'll be very crowded this weekend, so I'll stick to watching on the HDTV. I'm not a TW fan, but hope he wins this one to put the tourney on the front pages around the country/world.

TW did well round #2....we'll see if this weekend does him in. Huge throngs at Innisbrook this weekend hoping to get a glimpse of the Tiger.

I am rooting for him, mainly because I can relate to him with the back issues. It would be amazing if he can fully come back from that.....not to mention all the good it would do for that tournament.
