I will be hating it around mid May till Oct. Once we get stuck in that reverse west windflow with no rain for weeks and lows around 82 and dewpoints of 75+ it will be pure hell mel. Just nothing is normal anymore, insane hot Feb now a below normal March but very little rain jane the last 7 weeks.

Not related to the Nor'easters, but due to lake effect, this area is about an hour North of where I used to live. Over 300" total for the season so far.

The snowiest populated place in America this winter is in Upstate New York | NewYorkUpstate.com

We get plenty of rain in the summer months here. And despite the news-media hype on the cool weather we have had this winter, and lack of rain, it's nothing unusual weatherwise for this neck of the woods. I've lived in FL for 42 yrs, seen this many times before.

The last couple years before I left Chicago they had over 6 foot of snow for several years, but 300", wow!

I picked, the hot humid summer wins! Lived here now for the past two years with the hottest summer on record in the area and I'm still more than OK with hot and humid.

Ya you get more rain during the summer as does everyone 8 to 20 miles east of me. I am right on the gulf and when we are in a reverse west windflow showers build up 8 to 20 miles east of me and move away toward the east coast leaving the west coast dry sly.

Now what very few days we have a southeast windflow then showers build east of Tampa and move toward the west coast where i have a chance to get rain.

This winter was not cold by a long shot. A little below normal in Jan, and the super record breaking hottest Feb ever and a little bit below normal March will come out a above normal winter in temps since Feb was so hot. Not sure where your neck of the woods are as it will vary big time in whatever part of the state you are in jen.
On avg i get more rain in the winter than i do the summer, but not this winter or last.

I have lived here much longer than 42 years and have kept weather records for about 42 years.

I'm not. But would rather have 2 deal with it than a winter up north.
