Ideas for fatal Bayshore crash memorial include lilies for little Lillia and her mom

How about this for an idea: speed bumps, traffic circles and other traffic calming devices on Bayshore and all over Tampa?

Very sad, disturbing and no words to describe what these young people did to the family of the two dead people.

The three people who caused this need to be charged to the fullest and no day off for good behavior as the young mom and the baby, don't get a day back in life!

I completely agree. I can't believe how many people are blaming the mother.

Parents fault. Who in the world would give a 18 y old a 460hp car? I gots over 500hp and i am over 18 a few times over and even i like to have fun. But that is too much power for a kid.

Yes, there are many people in Tampa blaming the mother, saying she should have seen the cars coming, that she should have walked to an intersection with a light and crosswalk in order to cross, etc.

Some of these people are the teen drivers' parents' attorneys.

Shameful.

Worse yet was his smarmy attorney talking to the media on Saturday after he appeared in court to ask if the kid could get his license back so he could drive to his college classes. "Hey, he's just a kid, and kids make mistakes." (Or something to that effect.)

That took quite the pair, if you ask me.

All I can say is that Mom and Dad are probably pretty well off based on their address. Let's hope that there is a significant transfer of wealth to the deceased mom and child's family/estate. This is a time for a serious clock cleaning, so to speak. The kid didn't become entitled on his own...

The boys parents are gonna be done financially after this. The driver's still gonna have to do some time, probably just a few years though, maybe 10.
Very sad situation. On vacation, suppose to be having fun, making memories, not funeral arrangements.
The husband/dad watched it happen from across the street from what I heard.

I hope these entitled parents get financially ruined and yes to this kid not becoming entitled on his own agreed to that .I think all parents who give their kid a sports car or high performance car need their head examined and call into question their fitness as a parent . Spoiled rich entitled snotty parents = spoiled , snotty rich entitled brats .
