Has it changed? -- YES -- And all for the better.

I see there's a few disgruntled posters here who preferred St. Pete when it was "Gods waiting list" and the downtown core was dead, run down and less gay... However, for the rest of us more progressive-minded people, St. Pete has made leaps and bounds in the right direction. So come on back, you'll love it! (Unless you identify with the sentiments of those disgruntled posters).

My son and his wife bought a home 4 years ago in the 33704 zip...his home has doubled in value...it's a safe area surrounded by other safe areas...North East St. Pete is great for young families as well as empty nesters...everything is so convenient...food, shopping, entertainment, and parks...not sure where political views or sexual orientation fits in but my son is a heterosexual republican...lol!
