I was wondering if there is anyone out there that is aware of a toyota corolla for sale in the $2000 range in the Clearwater to Tampa area. Im kind of on a budget and I really need a decent car that is a gas sipper that will last me a little while. Im also open to maybe looking at the 97' ford escort or the chevy cavalier as well as long as it falls in the same price range. I've done some searching and seem to have hit a brick wall. Feel free to drop me a message if anyone is ware of anyuthing that falls in this category I know its a stretch but its all I have to work with for a cash flow.

Thanks for the input. I'll be looking into both of these suggestions and hopefully something good will pop up.

Buying used cars is so tough - never really know what you're buying into. Would be nice to get a check over by a mechanic. Good luck.

I bought a car off Ebay once, actually twice. Both were decent. One was a Corolla the other a Subaru. Do you have your own tag or will you need to get one? Beware of buying from dealerships if you're on a tight budget because most charge a dealer fee that can be a few hundred dollars, and then they want your tax tag and title at time of purchase. If you do buy off ebay read theh fineprint because some also charge a processing fee.
