Well, I took the plunge and I'm moving from CT to Largo, FL. Right now I'm in NJ with my daughter visiting her grandparents. Tomorrow we're travel down to Savannah for a couple of days and will arrive at my new apartment in Largo on Monday 11/5.

These past few months have been a living nightmare. I purged, I sold, I gave away, I begged people to take my stuff in order to downsize. My moving date was delayed because of a major paving project at the apartment complex which cut off access to the road in front of my townhouse for much of the time. When moving day came (10/29) the road crew wound up installing the new curb in front of my apartment while we were loading the u-pack cube!

Whatever could go wrong did but I'm relieved to finally be on the road and leave CT and the cold and dark behind.

So get this...I get a call from the rental manager at my new place in Largo--THEY are now going through a major paving project and I was told that the road in front of my new apartment will be inaccessible on 11/8!!

Looks like karma is quite literally paving the way for me!

It's 6pm and we're having a drink outside watching a cloudy sun go down.
It's a little chilly and I'm wearing a top over my T-shirt but it took me a while to find it because it's so long since I've worn it.
Temps back to normal tomorrow.
You'll love it here.
