You clearly don't understand how any of this works, despite being told countless times.

And there’s no reason to fly to Newark to get to the NY Metro. But maybe you have a thing for Newark. That would explain a lot about you.
Could you possibly be any more condescending and nasty? And you might want to take this up with United, as they operate a very successful mega-hub in Newark. In addition to having a massive market in Northern New Jersey, it's also the preferred Airport for people living on the west side of Manhattan over LaGuardia and JFK - just so you know.

Stomping your feet and whining continuously about this isn't going to change a damn thing. Perhaps you would be happier in South Florida, you would probably blend right in perfectly down there.

Awwwww you poor thing, offended by "nasty" and "condescending" comments.

My comments are no more "nasty" and "condescending" than yours. But if you are so easily offended, perhaps you should stay off City Data Forum, where "nasty" and "condescending" is the name of the game!

Lucky for you, I am not offended by anything ever. So you can sling whatever insults at me you like, keep at it, if it turns you on!

Speaking of "nasty," I wouldn't be caught dead living in South Florida (or Newark), but thanks for the suggestion! I'll be happy in South Tampa for quite a while! Watching my property values skyrocket and flying all over the world out of MCO and FLL until TPA gets its act together!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newark is the next Jersey City. They build the light rail that connects to Newark penn. There are already tons of Fortune 500 companies who build up their Disaster and recovery centers there, now they are building b sites. The path train also goes to Newark. Newark is a 20 min train ride to the city.
As someone who flies into the city weekly I don't mind Newark I prefer JFK, then Newark and then LaGuardia.

Yeah, yeah, whatever. Who cares. I have no need to fly to Newark ever. If I want to go to NYC I fly to JFK or LGA and hire a car service or do Acela from Philly.

Speaking of Newark, it costs more to fly to TPA-EWR than it does to fly to JFK or LGA. At least on President's Day Weekend. Unless you have specific business in Newark, why fly there to get to NYC?
