I am so fed up with living in a so called "luxury" apartment that is marketed to professionals, to find out once I move in that college students begin moving in and are treating it like it is a dorm. How do they afford it, you ask? Well mommy and daddy co sign their leases and suddenly a 19 year old is living in a "luxury" apartment with $1700 and up for monthly rent, and making it hell for working professionals who thought they were paying a lot to move in with other professionals. If the students respected the other residents who want a nice, clean, quiet place to come home to after a long day at work, that would be great. However, it is not the case...they treat the complex like their personal party place as if they were living at a dorm....they do not care because they do not earn the money to pay the rent.

That all said...PLEASE tell me where I can rent where this is not allowed, or where, naturally it is far enough away from the Universities and colleges, that it is not an issue because it is just too far for them to quickly get to school.
And even though students are not part of the fair housing act, they will still not give any information on whether they rent to a lot of students, so all you can do is ask other residents.
