After surviving 3-4 yrs of road improvements along 275 south the state wants to put up barricades again to help fix an area they just got done fixing. Sounds like "malfunction junction" They have tried 3 times to fix that, and to make things worse they added the crosstown connector to make it worse.

5 yrs of "Bob's Barricades" to more then likely add to the problem of HF/veterans/Airport/westshore. I guess this will be Malfunction Junction 2. It seems the only one benefiting is Bob's bank account.

In the grand scheme of things, it's not too far fetched that we'll land a man on Mars before this is all done.

The biggest problem is they keep trying to make things better but each time create other problems or make things worse. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually made things better with the three or four years of barricades.

It's been a nitemare since the 60's. How many times have they redone the area around the airport.
I remember like 3 times.

We get to put up with the back ups on the bridge for three years due to construction. Then when they finally pack up the barricades we still get back ups. I hope the gandy extension is finished before they start this project.

The bridge in and of its self moves quite well. Occasionally there might be an accident or car breakdown but most of the pain is just on the Tampa side causing rush hour back ups to spill over onto the bridge. You don't get that on the pinellas side except rarely. I always give a sigh before heading over to pinellas from the tampa side knowing it will be smooth sailing once on the bridge. So i guess it will be all day and not just rush hour for the spill over due to construction.

It just can't make money. Just the upkeep on the boat is too much. Running them engines at 30knts every day sucks lots of fuel let alone the rebuild cost of the engines every year. Anytime you run a boat fast it cost money.
