Default Pool costs in Tampa

Am thinking about buying a house with a pool in S. Tampa. How much does pool maintenance cost? I've never had one. How much does it add to your water and electric bills? Roughly?

My pool 14x 28 is approx 10,000 gallons of water, runs 8 hrs in spring/summer and 4 hours in fall/winter......I'd say it adds about $40.00 extra to my electric bill......I know in the beginning if I wasn't right on top of checking chemicals and the darn thing turned "green" I'd be forking out around $22.00 each time it turned....plus cost of chorine.......solved the problem got a guy to come weekly to clean/vacuum/and add chemicals for $70.00 a month. No more hassles.

Hope this helps.

There are a lot of threads on pools. You'll have to use the search to find them - I recall one where all the questions you're asking were answered.
