Thinking about moving to Holiday Florida on Lake Conley, does anyone have info to share on the area and the lake?

Holiday?
If you've got teeth or more than a high school education, or no police record, why would you want to live THERE?

All I can say is check out homeowners insurance rates as Lake Conley is on the west side of US 19 and insurance is near impossible to find. You will probably have to go with Citizens Insurance because I don't know if anyone else will write insurance. My parents live in Holiday abour 5min from Lake Conley and they are with Citizens Insurance and they could not find any other insurance coverage. Holiday is also a much older senior crowd and there are good and bad areas as in any other community. It is a small area...blink and you are in Tarpo, New Port Richey, or Elfers.

I've lived in Holiday since 84, and sinced have moved. Please find a new location. Holiday is very small and run down. US 19 is a disaster. Building after building. Gas station on every corner. You may want to consider Trinity or Oldsmar or anywhere else on the east side of 19, to avoid being in the flood zones.

I wouldn't live there if someone gave me a house there for free. Seriously.

Did you ever make a decision about Holiday? My wife and I are thinking about investing in some property there.

LOL - I couldn't agree more! Holiday is a pit. And those assessments of US 19 - strip clubs, amscots, ugly buildings and businesses in general on his huge dangerous highway.
DecoDiva - I wouldn't live there if you gave me a house either!
