Divorce mom (me) has rekindled a long-lost love relationship with someone who now lives in the Clearwater area. The toughest decision of my life: Do I relocate my almost 14 yr old son from a sheltered rural area and a great Christian school to Florida? (This is aside of all the other complications.)

Can anyone give me some feedback on the communities as they relate to kids? That is, common activities, general safety, positive influences, student mentoring, drugs influence, teen violence, 'accepted' sexual culture, yada, yada.

Any and all comments are indeed welcome and appreciated.

Wink Thanks clearwaterlargodude

I appreciate the feedback. My guy loves Florida, so I'm not so sure he's able to be objective about it...even though he has younger kids. I have to say, I DO love the sunshine. It's gray here 80% of the time in winter.....now
