There are no private International or Bi/Trilingual schools in Tampa unfortunately.

Does anyone know of one within 1 hour of Tampa? I know nothing about the surrounding towns in either direction. Yes, I'm willing to spend all day in traffic to make sure my daughter is comfortable and happy . We're looking for a private middle/high International school.

Thank you!

If you look in USDirectory dot com under private schools there's several that come up. Don't know if that's what you are looking for. There are several private schools around the Tampa area. It all depends on what is the other language you are looking for.

I tried going to that website and nothing came up for Tampa area, unless you count the International Beauty School, which is not exactly what we are looking for.

The only International School I can find in Tampa is Pre-K to 3rd grade unfortunately.

She currently attends an International School where they are trilingual in French and Spanish. As far as I can tell, there are no International Schools offering either or both language in Tampa. I know Tampa is not a large city but we were hoping there would be more options!

If anyone knows of any International Schools outside of Tampa, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, but this is a university, not a middle and high school.

I think, unfortunately, that Miami is the only city in FL with an International school. I will just chalk this up to Florida being a state of small cities, with no majot metropolitan city that would have all the amenities of a larger city.

You might try contacting Carrollwood Day School. Though not exactly what you asked for, they offer one of the few IB MYPs and I know they teach both Spanish & French. Here's a link to their website --> Carrollwood Day School. If you call the school, ask for Dawn. She's very helpful.
