Default senior apts tamps

My brother is considering a move to Tampa to be near theVA hospital. He knows nothing about the area and does not drive. He is a senior.Are there any senior affordable apts in the area?

Yes, there are several. I looked for my mom a few years back, check with the HUD site for senior housing there is a list on one of them. There are all types but being at least 62 and income restrictions apply. Sorry I cannot be more specific if has been a while since I looked. Also there are religious organizations that run many through HUD. My mom pays $550 month includes electric, water,trash. She pays for phone cable. Some have waiting list others not. There are several in the south Tampa area. Hope this helps a little.
