My husband and I may be moving to Tampa and have two small children-3 months and 2 yrs old. We are looking to move north of Tampa around the Land O Lakes area. We are coming from Seattle Washington and would like being in a nice family community close to shopping. We are very used to traffic and congestion coming from Seattle, so that is not to much of a problem for us. Any suggestons for areas to live?

I just did a quick search in the MLS for single family homes under $180K with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 baths in Land O Lakes and got 67 results. Add in Lutz (which I'd recommend you do) and you've got another 42. Will they all meet your requirements? No. The point is that you should be able to find something from all that. You can perform a similar search on Realtor.com. For non-listed properties, you could also search on Craigslist. If you plan to stay there for several years, please check out the local schools in the areas as well.

Thank you for your help. I was also looking at Lutz, so that helps. How about New Port Richey and Port Richey?
