Dog friendly rentals
I just found out today we are relocating to Tampa. Here's the problem, we have 3 dogs. One is 60pds, one is 25pds, and one is 3pds. We need a dog friendly rental, preferably a house with a yard but an apartment with a dog run nearby would work too.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to start looking?

I would first check out Craigslist.com for home rentals, they seem to have a great collection of real rentals available and you can explore the pet issue. The Camden chain of apartments say they take dogs in South Tampa.

Any opinions of Park at Lake Magdalene Apartments? It looks like they have mini backyards.

I have four dogs, and they're not small. The only dog friendly neighborhood I know of is off of East Fletcher; Wildwood Acres--that's where I live. They're pretty nice, all have fenced back yards for the doggies and they're big. I have a 2 bedroom; the one bedrooms don't have a washer dryer hookup. check it out.....

Park at Lake Magdalene is a pretty good area, don't know anything about the apts themselves though.

Wildwood Acres got some horrific reviews on Apartmentratings. How do you like it?

i just looked at Lansbrook in Palm Harbor a few weeks ago, not bad and they have a dog run.
rooms were a bit too small for me, though. and i'm more of a cat person!

Wildwood Acres
I've never had a problem and most of the units are completely remodeled, upgraded inside. They're roomy; but, as I said there are so many places that won't rent to people with more than one dog, especially big ones. I'll have to check out apartmentratings.com, that's interesting! Anyway, when you get here, at least check it out!
