Hear ye, Hear ye, the Diva's gettin' hitched!
Honey and I are tying the knot in St Pete in the middle of July. No big wedding, just a ceremony, just the two of us in a garden. We're staying at a lovely B&B. we're having our wedding night dinner at Chateau France (love that place) but we'll also be in St Pete for the weekend. Looking for a nice place for dinner Saturday night. I've heard about Cerviche's, never had tapas, and feel like a total idiot. Okay, they're appetizers, right? So what's normal, like how many do you order? Is it the kind of thing you'd actually have for dinner, or just nibbles with drinks? Their website is down, I can't find out if they have music, a band, dancing or what. Anyone know? Another possibility is Columbia, been there and liked it, but I like to try different places. All recommendations are appreciated. |

Hi,
I think you mean Ceviche. I've never been to the one in St. Pete, just the one in Sarasota... and it was (is) fantastic. We have friends who have been to the St. Pete location & they absolutely loved it. They do have some larger portioned items, but yes, it's mainly smaller portions or things meant for sharing. Trust me, you'll eat plenty. When we went, I think we each ordered 3 dishes, one at a time. They let us really linger and decide when we were ready for more. Enjoy, and congrats! |

My wife and I have been to the one in SOHO. It the best tapas we have had to date. We went with another couple. Ordered a couple pitchers of sangria and about 10 dishes for the 4 of us. They were all very good.

Tapas can be very filling, though the plates are small you try several dishes which I find more satisfying than just eating a big plate of something.
I've only been to the one in St. Pete, near the pier, and it was delicious, can't wait to go back. Congratulations! |
