Hi to all. I need some help on looking for a nice area to move to in Tampa. I have kids in elementary and 1 in middle school. Need a nice school, great neighbors, nice shopping plaza, safety and friendly atmosphere.

Are they're any nice middle schools that are in walking distance from apartment complex?

We reside in Orlando and are looking for a new change.

I think this will help with school locations. As far as apartment go I would not listen to anyone without taken a spin over and seeing the schools first and then apartments in the neighborhood. Speak with a Tampa police officer in any area that you have concerns about would be my advise. I travel to Tampa several times a year but don't really know the residential areas.

If you HAVE to move to Tampa, based on what you want I would go with Old Carrollwood.
