Default Information about Tarpon Ridge community in Palm Harbor

I will be moving to palm harbor soon because of work and looking to buy a townhome there. I have been looking around online and found one called Tarpon Ridge being built by Rottlund homes.

It is very close to the main highway US19. Any one heard about this area or has any info on the schools around that community.

If it is the community I am thinking of it can be seen from rt 19-very busy highway. It also looks like there has not been a lot of activity since the housing bust(but I haven't been in the community itself) It would also be in the Tarpon Springs High School assignment area. The best high school assignments for Palm Harbor are PH University or Eastlake.

I have 2 nephews, 2 nieces and a brother all in Tarpon High and are getting an excellent education. my sister graduated from Tarpon High years ago and was very happy with the school. Palm Harbor University in my opinion is a lowsy school. I graduated from Eastlake 14 years ago and at that time it was a good school. I suppose it still is but it now has a bunch of the well off in the school. Still not a bad school. Just my opinion. Don't be afraid of US 19. It is a very busy road, just watch out for the other people and you will be fine.

Default So is this a good time

So do you think this is a good time to move to to this community as there has been no developments from 1-2 years?

I really don't know for sure. I'll try to take a ride through this weekend and see what it is like.
Maybe one of the local RE agents who post here, will see your thread and can give you accurate info.

But Tarpon High is a "D" grade school. Any input on that.
