Default A great night place for a 30+ crowd

ok, so my mom's going to be 60 this year. She is a very young 60 and we live up in Spring Hill so I dont know any good places to go. Can anyone recommend a place that is good for the 30+ crowd in the Tampa Bay area? She likes to dance and she hates going places where everyone has gray hair and drives cadillacs and oldsmobilles. A place where you can have dinner and then dance afterwards would be preferable but just dancing would be fine too. I'd like the place to have a bit of class and maybe even some culture.

Thanks for your help!!!!

Have you thought about maybe Blue Martini at International Plaza?? They serve appetizers and have a band and then switch to a DJ. It's a nice older crowd-I'm 33.

There's lots of couples and groups of people. You also have the typical singles there scoping each other out but its really a nice atmosphere and your mom will enjoy it. It might turn a little different after certain hours but if you do go, get there early so you can get a table. Usually when I went around 10pm, the place was already packed (friday and sat nights) Have fun!!!

Ybor City is also good since there are several places and crowds to choose from. A walk down 7th st. on a Fri. or Sat. night is entertaining in itself.

Does anyone know if the 'new' Malio's has a lounge? The old Malio's was a great place to go for the over 30 crowd. I have heard Iavarone's Steakhouse is a good place too.

Ybor is good before 11 pm but, I think the younger party crowd is what is catered to not the over 30 crowd.
