I am single and 44 and I really don't know, but try going to the Pool or maybe walking down the street. Unfortunately, I have not met any men this way that I want to meet! I guess I need help in that area too, so let me know.

If you are a bike rider there are motorcycle clubs in the Tpa area. They take rides nearly every weekend and occasionally weekend trips up the coast.

Thanks for the info Fishead. I am divorced in my early 40's and planning on moving to Tampa from Chicago relatively soon. I heard I should avoid South Tampa all together because its all a young crowd, and focus on St. Pete. Looking to meet guys 40-48 age range..

Websites plentyoffish.com and OKcupid.com are well populated with singles. OK has a better screening system because of their question and answer section, so you can fine filter better than in plentyoffish, however, plentyoffish will often have more people in it. I've used both, and met some quality people through them.

As always, do your homework, meet in a public place and have fun.

Meetup groups are a good way to meet people. If you like to play kickball check out the Valrico Kickballers. It's a very welcoming and fun group of people.
