Default Anniverary Suggestions

My husband and I have only lived in the Tampa area for less than year and our anniversary is coming up next month and we need suggestions for a night/weekend out. For a one night thing I thought about a dinner cruise (Channelside, St. Pete, or Clearwater) as that is something we have never done (any comments on that one); wondered about driving to Orlando for a weekend but didn't really want to get caught up in the prices of the theme parks; thought about a couple hours at Hard Rock on the machines (never done that) after a nice dinner out. We are in our late 40s and neither are into dancing and we only have a max of two drinks when we go out to dinner to no clubs for us. Any suggestions anyone?

I would shop for deals for a 3 day weekend on the beach at nearby St. Pete or Clearwater. It should be an off season rate still and not so crowded. The weather should be still warm without the intense heat making night time walks on the beach enjoyable. Just my thoughts as to what I would like.

If you like to do a nice weekend getaway to a nearby beach, check out Pass-a-Grille Beach small quaint Inns, prestine beach, and nice restaurants.

Dinner Cruise on the Starlight in Channelside, have heard good things.
