Davis Island or Hyde Park (Tampa, Trinity: rental, townhomes, living in)

Hello, Everyone!

I've been living in the area for about 6 months and have found that I really like both Davis Island and Hyde Park. I will be looking in the spring, and at the latest, in the summer, to move from north of Tampa. Although I don't have to commute in 5 days a week, it sure turns out that way sometimes because of meetings scheduled at last minutes, etc. So, wear and tear on my vehicle, as well as gas prices, are factored in to the loss of time due to commutes during rush hour and of course frustration runs hand and hand with all of that.

Does anyone know of a place that will be up for rent next spring or summer? I am single, very respectful of both people and property, have a great job in South Tampa, have one small dog and he wants to bring along his best friend, our kitty cat. They're inseparable. Neither cause damage either. I wouldn't stand for it. I am looking for a 2 bedroom, doesn't matter on the bathrooms and a small fenced in yard if possible. I know it's a lot to ask for, but hey, if I don't ask, I will never know.

Also, if you know of any local websites (not craigslist, I already surf that, as well as hotpads) for hyde park or davis island, that would be great if you could send it along.

There is a townhome for rent in Trinity Square on Dakota near Hyde Park Village (corner of DeLeon). I believe the sign indicated it is being rented by Prudential. I believe they are all privately owned townhomes and a number of people there have pets. I think it's been open for a while and the pets may be an easier sell if it's been laying vacant for a while. It's a nice location.
