Hi Everyone....
I am 28 and graduated in marketing/management a few years ago..I have a lot of hotel experience and thinking about moving to Tampa, FL. I am not interested too much in bars and such but do like going to concerts once in a while. I want to take some night courses while working (some language courses), also I want to possibly move back to Brazil where my family is in a few years. Any opinions if this city is a good idea? I have lived in SC for years and that was way to slow and lacking opptys for me, so I lived in Los Angeles for three years, and that was too expensive and the traffic/parking situation was not cool at all to say the least. I have had friends suggesting that Orlando would be better for me. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Tampa or Orlando are good choices for anyone looking to enter the hotel industry, but do not expect competitive wages in either of these cities. The most competitive wages in Florida will be found in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Your knoweledge of the Portugeuse language will be most useful in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale or Orlando areas.
