HELP PLEASE!!Residence Inn ~ Brandon/Tampa
I need help, please
I was supposed to make reservations and I forgot (UGH) so now the Residence Inn in Sarasota is booked. We have 2 dogs so I can't just stay anywhere. I found one in Brandon, can you look at the address and tell me what this area is like? I don't want to book something and find out when I arrive, that it is in the shady side of town.

It's in an area known as Sabal Park, surrounded by corporate businesses such as Citigroup, Bank of America and others. It's not a drug infested crime area, but it's not touristy either. All I know of the area personally is we attended a Christmas party at the Crown Suites, also in Sabal Park, two years ago and it was a nice place. Hope this helps a little or maybe someone else that has more experience will respond very soon.

This hotel is in a very nice area and is newer as well.

It is in Sabal Park. There's really nothing around the area expect industrial and Citigroup, Pharmamerica, and HavaTampa. The area looks yucky, I used to live right across the street. There is crime in the area, but I don't think you should have any issues. You are only there for a visit.
