Default Help! Need some advice on coming to Tampa

Hi! My wife has an interview in Largo on Friday. We have booked our tickets and are ready to fly to Tampa on Wednesday. What would be the easiest and cheapest way to get to Largo from Tampa airport (I don't have a driver license). Zip code is 33779. Also where would be the best place to stay during our time in Largo. Thanks in advance. And my last question where do you think is the best place for Tampa in terms of employment for someone without a driver license.

Can your wife rent a car? Does she have a license? Taking a car service would run you around $40 each way, plus tip. You'd need to take a cab anywhere you'd plan on going, which could get pretty high, depending on what you want to do. Any 'ole hotel like Comfort Inn, etc. should be fine and they provide breakfast. Just look on hotels.com, orbitz.com, etc. and search the address of where she is having her interview and find the closest. You might strike it rich and find a place close enough to walk to her interview and to restaurants, but you'd really be trapped without a car at all.

This may be too late, but Tampa International Airport has a ground transportation page on their website ---> TPA | Ground Transportation#

Across the street from your employer or along a city bus line - not sure how many city buses are in Largo. Or at least biking distance. I'd be very skeptical if I were hiring anyone who didn't have a license - expecting a lot of days where the employee would be late for work or no-show d/t transportation.

BucFan is right - I don't think that there's any place in Florida with good public transportation and Pinellas County is npt pedestrian or bicycle friendly.
