Default Are there any FL beaches that allow bonfires, alcohol?

Just curious. I've lived in the Tampa Bay area my entire life. I remember when my dad used to go to the beach and have bonfires, but that was many moons ago, probably over a good decade. I don't think any of those shinannigans are allowed anymore, not around here anyway. Are there any other beaches around the state that do allow for this? And alcohol?

HAH!! I wish! No, seriously! I really wish I would be able to round up some friends take my acoustic guitar, some beer and set a bonfire. That would be nice. I highly doubt thats possible!

Anclote Island (not a day trip - myst have permit). I thought Ft. Desoto - ohh they have a campground out there - not the main beaches. St. Joes way up in the Panhandle is freaking awesome. I trekked around 13 mile peninsula. You can camp way out in the middle of these huge dunes.

Cocoa Beach allows alcohol.. Coconuts on the beach is awesome, there's always a huge party going on outside there on the beach.. You can also get a drink there and take it out on the beach!!

No beer allowed on beaches? Wow.... ok .... good to know. Although the beaches were rocky and you couldn't swim in the water at least we could have bon fires and drink on Alaska Beaches. Yet another reason why I need a boat. Go to an island and camp out!

No fires allowed anywhere I know of. It used to be either Treasure Island or Maderia beach that allowed alcohol.....don't know if it's still that way though.

What about a small BBQ, like those mini-Webers, or a hibachi? Are such things allowed on Clearwater Beach, Madeira Beach, or other beaches in St. Petersburg area?
