I have recently gotten back in contact with a friend who is an independent artist in the St Pete area. During our catch up conversation I was stunned find out that when he gave his copyright cd to a possible manager the person used his image on his .com and has also set up downloading for .99 purchase.
There were no contracts or verbal agreement to do so, the artist asked for his image to be removed, cd returned and also to see what the sales are on his cd. There was never a response. The manager is also an attorney of litigations/recovery (imagine that). Is there some advice for this situation?
