Default Town of 'Holiday' and adopting to hot weather

I'm thinking of buying in the town of 'Holiday' Florida in Pasco County.
Any comments on that town would be of interest.

Also, any advice to adopting to the hot and humid weather coming down from the cold and snowy north.

Go for a visit during the summer. Everyone has a different heat tolerance. Remember you won't have a spring or fall and sometimes only a month of what FL calls winter.

If you don't mind 80s in the winter at times and 90s in the summer then you should be OK.

Mike Peterson, on this forum, might be able to give you more info on the Holiday and Spring Hill areas. He's quite knowledgeable ans willing to share his expertise. If you really want info try DMing him.

As far as getting used to winters in Florida, I just returned from Florida and wish I were still there. It takes me about a milli-second to get used to the sunny, blue skied, 70 to 80 degree days there.

Holiday is an unincorporated community that is somewhat congested. A lot of people who live in that area commute to jobs in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater. From what I hear, it is a good place to live and fairly safe. There is a lot to do in the area.
