vegas to tampa is on a distinguished road
Smile questions on areas..Jungle, South Pasadena, etc.

Looking at moving from Las Vegas to Tampa area and have tons of questions. Background.. working mom to 4 year old son, - need great schools (private is fine). Husband works in hotel industry. Family friendly area preferred. The areas I have looked in St. Pte are: Tierra Verde (like prox. to beaches), ditto St. Pete beach area and Treasure Island. Should evacuations be a MAJOR concern? How often do they happen? Also finding homes in The Jungle area and South Pasadena that I like (1920 mission style mini- mansions) Is this area good? Many posts seem to suggest North in the 33704 zip NE waterfront area... opinions? If I look over into Hillsborough area I am finding some good choices in 33647 zip, although it seems like more "track" housing. Ultimately I would like to be within a half hour of the beaches and the city. My price range would be up to $700K, not less than 3000 sq.ft and in a good family friendly area. All input (good and bad) is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
