Hi all I am a newby, from the UK, and enjoy holidaying in the sunshine state once or twice a year, I am looking to buy a (caravan) mobile home (modular home) in the clearwater coast area (anywhere considered) we are mature in our late 50's and would probably come 3-4 times a year. We require somewhere near the coast within 5 miles, possibly in a 50+ with pool and bar on the complex. Can anyone advise me of any possible places, I have trawled the net, but most of the sites I have found dont have dedicated websites. any locals there to help me. (addresses, websites etc) would be greatly appreciated. As we plan to come over in the summer to have a look round. Any locals that live on one of the sites to advise.

One nice place in Largo which is just south of Clearwater is Fairway Village.
I don't know about them having their own bar but there are many right in the area.

Fairway Village is 5* and the next is Caribbean Isle in Largo Florida.

I just checked out both parks.Caribbean Isle you can own some of the lots and some are leased The roads are narrow to drive around.Fairways Village is owned by the residents Its a beautiful park with alot going on their.There is space between homes so this is were we will live next year
