I'm skeptical right now. Raheem Morris is 32 yrs old, I believe and with very little experiece. But so was former Buc asst DB coach Mike Tomlin, and he's doing well with the Steelers. Raheem seems to be coming up those same ranks.

I supported Gruden. I liked his work ethic - didn't like his offenses, particularly his RB, WR, and QB development.

I'll be going to a few games this coming season, so hopefully whomever the Glazers select, they will be a competitive team.

Well, I surely don't think he is the reason they won the super bowl, that should have been Tony's win as he built up that team.

Tony, as much as I'm a big fan, has shown that for two organizations, he can't seem to motivate his team to win when expected. Too many of the Bucs and Colt teams undersachieved. I give Gruden a great amount of credit for putting the Bucs over the top in 2002. But the Bucs are ready for a change. Hopefully this isn't out of desperation, though. I'd hate to see us return to the 1983-1995 days.

in two weeks, thousands of football fan tourists will fly into Tampa, use hotels, buy stuff, eat out and spend a ton of money - because they're here to use the RJS stadium for the Super Bowl.

USF plays in that stadium every year.

The Outback Bowl (played in Januarry) brings thousands of money spending tourists

Concerts at RJS bring people who spend $$$$$

Still not enough to offset cost to taxpayer. If they were a vital and self supporting business they would not ask nor accept tax dollars. However in today's bailout climate it appears the taxpayer is just the trough for the pigs to feed. When the taxpayer can no longer afford to go to these venues they support who will rescue us? Nearly tapped out here.

You as a taxpayer will pay it one way or another - either assist with the stadium or assist with unemployment brought on by loss of tourism to the city.

Replacing him with this coach is even more of a mistake then keeping him.

He never had the players to win much, the owners have to open the checkbook a little more to ever get up with the big boys. No matter who the coach is you have to have the talent, player who want to work hard and a will to win.

TB just does not have the talent right now and no coach could win with this current team.

Do not remember the numbers but Arizona Cardinals are going for the first time in what 30+ years?

All because of young talent, old talent and a will to win. TB has none of that.

Sad but true.

He was the one responsible for choosing his lineup. He made the draft selections with Bruce Allen - and looks like he and Allen did a miserable job picking he right players. They both also were responsible for signing the right free agents (another miserable job except Antonio Bryant). Gruden didn't treat his players right and it came back to hurt him. Morris is more of a players coach - so we'll see what that brings - he's definitely not a clone of Gruden.
