Good Morning,

Does anyone know where to sell furniture in Tampa? we have a few pieces that must go because we are downsizing and I tried craigslist but had no luck.......are there any other places? we can't ship or move these, so it will have to be local pick up.....

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Would try Craigslist, you really should take a photo of it and have a reasonable price in mind (depending on how fast you want to sell it), around the holidays you may be lucky as ppl tend to entertain etc - also check the Pennysaver if you have one in your area but I think your best bet w/b CL

You could also try some Tampa facebook yard sale groups like this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/281729728572093/ or you can search for similar groups closer to where you live, if there are any.

It's hard to sell funiture because of the amount here. My niece works at a over 55 mobile home park and when someone dies the relatives mostly from up north give the entire mobile home contents to used funiture stores and the salvation army, because they don't want to take it north with them. That's why there are so many estate sales also. Thers a glut of funiture here. I ended up giving my couch away and it was like new. If you ever drive around and see open garages they are stuffed with funiture and other junk.
