Default Florida car insurance...

I am rather surprised about car insurance in Florida...I expected to get a increase in rates considering its Florida, but mine tripled. I currently use state farm. Does anyone know of a better and less expensive one to use?

Otherwise, it the best move I have ever made, coming from cold PA!

Shawn

Can I ask about specifics? Do you drive a new car, sports car?? I am in NY and my insurance rates are very moderate. I, too am contemplating a move within the next year or two and am trying to understand all the cost differentials between a place like Tampa and vicinity and Albany, NY.

I am a bit tired of our Winters. I need sunshine!

Thanks!

Diana

Double check your OLD policy bill vs. current to make sure you are getting all of the credits etc. that you deserve.

Other than that...shop around...Auto Insurance is EXTREMELY competitive.

If you are with the same company, ask your agent to explain the price increase and what item(s) caused it.
