Anyone been to this? Is it fun. Does it have enough kiddie rides and anything cool for babies and toddlers? Also are there any recommendations for hotels in Tampa area? Something with large suites or 1 - 2 bedroom units?

hi living in the bay area the state fair is one of those traditions.
I just went on friday (a student day) and it was packed.
but it was really fun.
the rides are in two sections the kiddie rides and the midway.
but if your bringing kids there are enough shows (sharks, bears seals) for entertainment and petting zoos! which are all free. one petting zoo had 2 GIRAFFS! you could feed (1$) and zebras and lamas.
they can milk a cow and she the cutest baby goats ever.
Also there is cracker country (which is no way offensive)
it's just how people lived it the 1800's its cute and educational.
i spent the whole day (12pm-11) there.
if you go . go on a wristband day it cost $30 it thats to pricey take time to enjoy the animals.
for the hotel i'm not really sure but the only one i know would be the double tree by westshore.
