Default Looking for a wedding venue for April 09 near the waterfront...HELP

I am LIVID!!!!!! I just found out that the yacht I reserved for my wedding in April is now being sold and I have to find another venue....Please help.

We do not live in Tampa so I don't know other nice venues to consider. We wanted a wedding on the waterfront & the yacht was perfect. Now that we have to start over, we are at a loss. What are some really nice venues in Tampa that would accomodate 75 guests that I should check out. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Davis Island Garden Club.. is on the Bay and they are very reasonable. There is a large Clubhouse with kitchen. See pic of the gazebo on the bay

My stepson was married there but they didn't use the gazebo. It was really pretty.. if it rains though you can have it inside the clubhouse

Default Yacht Starship

According to yesterdays article in the St. Pete Times, that it will be selling its 600 passenger ship. Public and special -event cruises will keep sailing from Tampa's Channel District and Clearwater on its 150 passenager yacht. They have down-sized in employees, but maybe you could use their smaller ship?
I'm surprised they didn't offer you the smaller ship.

I'd call them back if this is the same company and see if you can get on the smaller ship. Good luck......April is a great time for a wedding in Florida.

Weddings On Water -Tampa Bay Area's Most Unique Beach Wedding Venue

One of my former co-workers was married on this thing a while back and was extremely happy how things went. It says the capacity is around 100 in the chapel and 125 total on the boat. Good luck!
