I was laid off from my work in jupiter florida c ouple weeks ago, I accepted a job in gulfport. I dont have the funds to move my family right away.

What I am getting at, are their any cheap efficiencies near gulfport? or st pete?

I am going to have to stay up their for mon-fri and come back on weekends for a couple months.

I dont care what kind of neighborhood their in as long as their not expensive

Thank You

Public transportation, form what I hear, is not particularly convenient, though they are adding routes. You cna look up the schedule at Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority

You should be able to find some efficiences in gulfport- try down by the water- nice little downtown area. If you move further wets, South Pasadena, though brimming with elderly folks, has some nicer apartment buildings. Between Gulfport and 34thSt is not the nicest area of St. Pete- might want to steer clear. Just north of Gulfport (norht of Central) you get into bette rneighborhoods and may be able to find garage apartments- though most of that area is homes.
