The nearest dog park that I can think of is the one near Peter O' Knight airport in Davis Island:
Dog Park and Beach

It's got a fenced dog beach, as well. You can find some pictures here: Pics of Dog Park

Here's some additional dog parks: Additional parks. Note that some of these parks may not be officially labeled as dog parks, so it could mean that they don't have a fenced area for your dog to run around leash free.

You'll love the Davis Island dog park. I just got back from there. My dogs love wading in the water and there are always plenty of other dogs there to play with.

ive had some bad luck at davis island including my dog slicing her paw open on either a piece of glass or an oyster shell. several hundred dollar trip to the emergency vet. bummer, cause she loves going to play in the water - and the water is just so dirty and stagnant there.

there is a fenced in park near the country club off of macdill just south of hyde park. it is a very low key park and very controlled.

edit - this is the one i am referring to.

Palma Ceia Park, 2904 W. San Miguel St., Tampa.
