Default Orlando to Legends Field during Rush Hour
I will be coming into Tampa from Orlando, To Legends Field. It will be 5:00pm rush hour traffic. Is it smarter to exit 275 to Martin Luther King, or stay on 275 all the way into Dale Mabry? Please advise. Thanks!

I would say getting off I-4 (on MLK or Hillsborough Ave), before it turns into I-275 would be best at that time of day when an event is happening, provided there are no complications with accidents and whatnot.

You'd think rush hour traffic would be on I4 east and 275 after Dale Mabry - and possibly the interchange. I'd take my changes, go to 275, exit at Mabry. Check out the above links for hot spots.

For what it's worth, MLK is pretty quick-moving from the I4 exit until about when you cross the river. It can get a little backed up between Armenia and the hospital, but that's only like .5 to 1 mile from Legends Field anyway.
