I doubt anyone in the market for a 25 mil house was thinking carefully about buying it because they could only barely afford the payments. I just don't think that crop of people makes decisions at the margin like the rest of us. You know, for us, life is all about decisions such as "should I take the family on the caribbean cruise, or should we put a new roof on the house."

I'm not sure how long it would take to sell, but the realtor will be very happy when it does. The commission would $1.5 million.

Maybe our first round draft choice - really, I don't think we have any players that could afford it. Maybe Derrick Ward or Antonio Bryant. Maybe the Buc owners (Glazers).

It's only 126,000/month. If you went with a zero down ARM I bet you could get it down to about 110,000/month for the first five years. You can invest that extra 16k/month in Nigerian bonds and in five years you can pay the house off, and retire in style. It's that easy!

So if it's 126,000K a month....and you rented out every room (ten bedroom) except for yours, for round 14K a month then you could live there for free.
So find 9 of your well employed friends and there you go!

I might be interested if that amount includes Property Tax and HOI.
