I know you mean in Tampa, and I don't have the answer for you, but it reminded me that

Ocean City Maryland has a great boardwalk. Just perfect.

IN the Tampa Bay area, I am not aware of a 'boardwalk' type area like Ocean City, MD; Atlantic City, Wildwood, NJ, etc. Clearwater beach has Beachwalk and Pier 60.

Are you talking about Tampa Bay or Maryland? If Tampa Bay, check out the John's pass historical fishing village near Pass-a-grille in Pinellas county. Its the colsest thing to a boardwalk like Ocean City in Tampa bay.

Yeah, Good old John's Pass. I can remember when it was soooo much smaller with a just a little parking in the front of the stores, very quaint. But, it's still great and lots of fun to go to. We were there about a week ago, ate dinner at Scully's while we people watched on the boardwalk and watched lots of dolphins playing in the water beyond that. Can't beat that for dinner entertainment!! If you're looking for a boardwalk experience, don't miss that area!
