I'm 25 years old, I am trying to do some research in hopes of getting a job at the University of South Florida. If I do get the job, where would be the best place to live? Things to consider are;

-My budget is $700/month

-The apartment would have to have washer/dryer in the apartment.

-I am looking for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, but I would do 2 bed, 1 bath if the price is really reasonable.

Distance- I would like to be within 5-10 minutes driving distance of the school. 15 minutes at the most.

-I would like to be live somewhere where I'm not living around too many USF students. I need my privacy.

- I would like somewhere safe that's close (20 minutes drive) to places of entertainment

Also, what is the quality of the USF females and females in the area in general?

I would also like a gated community, if possible.

Check out New Tampa for apts, although I am not sure you can find an apt for $700 a month. Carlton Arms or Lake Carlton Arms in Lutz might have something more in your price range.

Maybe because your asking for a lot for $700. You might to do a roomate situation.

But to have a washer/dryer in the unit and a gated community? For $700.

I don't rent here, but seems like you are being very picky for your budget.

And you want to live close to campus but don't want to live around USF students?

Newsflash- most apts around any major university will be filled with students.

I attended UCLA for grad school and Westwood was for the most part all UCLA students. It just goes with the territory.

You need to lower your expectations or raise your budget.

came across as sexist, and we don't need any more misogynists, so my best advice, is stay where you are.

I agree with seain dublin, you are expecting too much for your $700! Good luck finding what you are looking for!
