Also, I'm not sure if this happens in Vegas, but many restaurants (mine included) are almost empty Mon-Thurs and over the summer.

You could try doing a search for Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Just click on the "Search" button toward the top. I do remember that they were hiring several months ago and there were a few people who were interested in it and were asking questions. You could possibly send a DM to some of them and see how they turned out. Unfortunately, I don't remember who they are so I don't know if they still frequent the forum. BUT you may luck out and they may have added that you can email them.

I totally understand why you would rather raise your child in the Tampa area vs. Vegas. We've been to both places and I understand. You're very fortunate to still have a job in Vegas. The service industry economy in Vegas was awful when we were there in late Dec.

Wow. Really? I found it never to be better. Especially with all the great deals all the hotels are giving out these days. The strip has been packed lately and business has never been better. I guess I should count my blessings.

I am a Chef my wife is a a sever we both do fine dining. You will not make anywhere near that kind of money here. There is a casino here Hard Rock owned by the Seminole Tribe. You have a child the school system here is terrible. Stay where you are.
