How about you? You like it here?
I have a large love/hate relationship. I'm not very tolerant to the heat, so the excessive months of high temperatures (anything over 80 is really too hot [but I'm not moving to Alaska, haha]) isn't good for me. The people tend to be very different, too. I've actually made more friends in NJ in a month - that I still talk to, than I have in 10 years living here. Out of the 10 years, I have only kept 2 friends close (one of which is originally from the Buffalo NY area), the rest have unfortunately flaked away. I wish it were easier to make friends, here...it makes it lonely.

Nature wise? FL is gorgeous, I love the huge amount of nature and various plants and species. The beach is always nice, as well, but I think I've gone maybe less than 10 times in the past 2 or 3 years.

I do enjoy winters here, though. I do miss snow, and love seasons, but FL winters are nice, I do strongly agree. I do enjoy the summer storms, as well.

I do miss that northern food (especially NJ) though .

But when it comes down to it, for myself, I find it a better place to vacation than live.

Too bad I'm not rich and can live in NJ and fly down here whenever I wanted, haha .

Wouldn't that be wonderful! To be rich and be able to fly to wherever you wish!

I find making friends here in Florida particularly difficult. The friends I have made here are mostly from NY/NJ.

I belong to angieslist. You are able to look up doctors on there now. Do you want me to do a search for ob/gyn in your area?

I love love love Dr. Jensen and Dr Todd at Bay Area Women's Care. They are awesome there. Dr. Jensen is thorough but very laid back and sweet. They have an office in Clearwater and one in Largo on Bryan Dairy Rd.

These are the female ob/gyn in St. Pete that have an "A" rating by at least one person.

Dr. Deborah Bart (Caring for Women), Dr. Marilyn Fudge (Community Health Centers), Molly M. Long, Lindsay Struthers. sueinge had recommended Dr. Jensen and Dr. Todd, their group as a whole was rated an "A".

Thank you SO much, again. I appreciate that beyond belief.

I'll see if any of them (besides Dr.'s Jensen and Todd) have websites, and check them out. But, it looks like I might make the trip to Clearwater to go to Dr. Jensen or Dr. Todd
