I'm yet another person relocating to the greater Tampa area, and am drawn to Palm Harbor. I'm considering renting a place in the Tuscany at Innisbrook complex, and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with living there or has personally known anyone who lived there.

Also, I'll be working in Tampa (W. Hillsborough and Dale Mabry Hwy). Is it reasonable to expect a 30-35 minute commute from Palm Harbor or is that a pipe dream?

Thanks for any responses.

Could be 1 hr from Innsbrook, Check out Lutz, Carrollwood, Westchase, Oldsmar, I lived in Westchase, would avoid Veterans at rush hour, but you can take local roads and get over to Dale Mabry/Hillsborough in 20-30 mins with local traffic.

Just curious... my schedule for the first 6-12 mos there would be from 10:00AM to 6:00PM... is this outside of the normal rush hour times for the area?

Would this make the commute from Innisbrook shorter or not much different?

I would expect you'd miss the worst of AM & PM rush hour. There is not nearly as much traffic here as in So CA. Count on 45 minutes I'd say...you'll have to check it out. Maybe someone from Palm Harbor will post here and give you a better idea. It took me 30 mins on avg to get from Westchase(Linebaugh Ave/Countryway) to Boy Scout/Lois/Westshore area @ 7 am.

Thanks for the reply. I'm starting the drive to Tampa on Friday, and still haven't settled on a place to live. So much to do, and so little time left!

I open to any suggestions.
