Default moving to Florida

I want to move to Florida in a year. I am qualified to purchase a home in the price range of 150,000 to 200,000. Does anybody know of any good areas to move in based on this price range. I have twin girls age nine and would like a great school for them as well. Tampa and Kissimmee is on my list. I am a nurse so not to concern about a job. Just want a good area. I currently live in the western suburbs in Illinois, I love my area here but hate the weather in the winter. Please Help!

Towns north of Tampa may be a good area for you. Mike Peterson is a realtor for some of those areas and he post right here on CD. PM him.

Also, if you want further south towards North Port SoFlaGal is also a realtor who post here, pm her if you are looking on that area.

I would not consider Kissimmee myself. Based on my time spent in the area.

Others may chime in about Kissimmee but I would not consider that particular town.

Make sure you visit the top 2-3 towns on your list before you make any moves.

Goodluck in Fla!

Maybe look between Dunedin and Clearwater? Dunedin is cool. I like Clearwater.
