I believe Saddlebrook Tennis resort is actually in Wesley Chapel, though I don't know details of whether it is mainly just for vacationers or friendly to community types looking for regular tennis opportunities.

I'll follow this thread, as it is a question I'd like answer to myself. We're in process of choosing Tampa area to live in and regular 3.5 tennis important factor for me.

There are tennis courts at the District park on Boyette Road in Wesley Chapel.
Saddlebrook tennis is for the members/HO and for people who pay for the courts or you have to know a member and play with them, which is possible outside the times that the tennis program is run.
Many communities have tennis courts and if you get to know some people you can go on the community courts if you live there or the person who you are playing with. Seven Oaks has 5 tennis courts, Meadow Point has tennis courts, New River has one court, etc...but all for their HO.
So when you get to know some people to play with, there are plenty of possibilities....the district park is open for everybody!
